Irrespective of how small or big your team is, you need to let your hair down once in a while and get to know each other outside the office environs. And what better way to do it other than a fun cook-off at The Culinary Lounge?!

A team of 4 from google was keen on coming over for a lesson in Italian cooking and also learning the art of making a top notch Sangria. We were, as always, committed to providing an experience that is memorable and unique. The rain poured down in buckets in Hyderabad that afternoon but we were not going to let it dampen our plans of the sundowner. In due course, the rain stopped and the clouds made way for streaks of sunshine just as the enthusiastic team from Google walked in through our gates.

A bartender was called in to take our guests through making a pitcher of sangria. With the fruits soaking and the sangria maturing on the side, the team got to the cooking stations and donned their aprons, all set to cook themselves a scrumptious dinner. The menu paired with the sangria was pizza, nachos with salsa dip and bruschetta. Each of the dishes required a lot of chopping, roasting, rolling and baking and the team immersed themselves in various aspects of the Italian spread, almost as if determined to prove their mettle as seasoned cooks by the end of the session.

The mood was light, the atmosphere jovial and the team got joking and making merry while the nachos were being baked, the bell peppers were roasting and the pizzas was being rolled out. With all the dishes prepared and rains having completely stopped, a table was set out with some chairs out in the garden area. The cool weather, coupled with the serene environment of Jubilee Hills made for a perfect backdrop for a quiet and relaxed evening with your teammates. The food was brought out along with the Sangria and the team settled down for some quality time together. This was indeed a perfect way to bring a stressful day to an end.

As for us, it was yet another successful evening and the sense of achievement and satisfaction on our guests’ faces was reward enough for a job done well.
