This is an enthusiast blog and the basic dealing we have with is code. According to the one source everyone scurries to information for (read: WikiPedia), Computer programming (or coding) is a process that leads from an original formulation of a computing problem to executable computer programs.

Coding involves activities such as analysis, developing understanding, generating algorithms, verification of requirements of algorithms including their correctness and resources consumption, and implementation of algorithms in a target programming language.

We aim to provide our designer friends (the ones who aren’t as interested in code) with ample resources as well. We will, as stated above, also be focusing on UI Design and UX Design. User interface design (UI) is the design of user interfaces with the focus on maximizing usability. The goal of user interface design is to make the user’s interaction as simple and efficient as possible, in terms of accomplishing user goals (user-centered design).

User experience design (UX, UXD, UED or XD), on the other hand, is the process of enhancing user satisfaction with a product by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction with the product. UX encompasses traditional human–computer interaction (HCI) design, and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.

Development and Design enthusiasts, this is the one-stop-shop for y’all in order to have that daily dose of inspiration.

Introducing: The Submission Portal

Thecyberfibre is open to anyone and everyone willing to contribute to the community. Developers and Designers can hop onto our Submission Portal whenever they feel like in order to submit a story. Every story will extensively be reviewed by our editors and published within a day of submission (provided it is relevant.) The stories will be published under the names of the respective authors and displayed in the “Originals” section of our blog.

Introducing: The Categories

Our blog has been divided into two broad categories, the “Originals” and the “Externals” categories namely. The “Originals” category will house posts submitted by the developers and designers using the Submission Portal. All the original posts will strictly be exclusive to thecyberfibre.

The “Externals” category, on the other hand, will be a constant stream of articles from external authors and blogs serving as a collective source of information and inspiration for the readers.

Since we’ve been emphasising on the “community” side of things so much, we felt that having a dedicated Telegram Group, a G+ Community and a Medium Publication could add to the blog’s ecosystem.
