how to get them to do what needs to be done…
As parents, I’m guessing you’ve had a similar experience to what I recently had with my daughter.
Azilee spent the day telling me all about the very rare “weird creature” that she was.
Playing make believe is just this natural thing that flows out of our kids constantly.
Today, she was “a weird creature” and there is only one in the world.
Her.
And every time she did anything (ALL DAY…) she related it being this “weird creature.”
I learned…
- It’s really fast
- It only runs on its tippy toes
- When it needs to get someone low it scoots on its butt
- It likes to eat string cheese because it’s easy to eat with just 2 tiny teeth
- It’s favorite pieces of string cheese are the “little hairs”
- It’s never tired and doesn’t want to go to bed
Bedtime is where I used some Jedi mind tricks I learned from a guy at my church years ago.
