Slow movers take their place on the right side of the street.

A new experimental regulation has been enacted for New York City splitting sidewalks and other walkways into two areas for slow moving and fast moving pedestrians. A landslide 55–45 victory within City Hall has some denizens praising the municipal decision as the rush hour foot traffic has turned into a saner commute for most involved.

The result has been a catalyst for some future bills being proposed for the separation of water fountains of said commuters as well as bathrooms. “Those slow movers should just stick with their own kind, it’s for the better of the neighborhoods” said Jean-Paul Le Faux, an artist living in Brooklyn, who also mentioned that his commute to his sound studio was increased by three minutes and seventeen seconds due to the slow walkers.

After his comment, Le Faux immediately took the opportunity of the 2016 NYC Marathon to get to the train faster, by joining the runners for four blocks.
