Tyler Winklevoss, who founded Gemini cryptocurrency exchange with his brother Cameron, gave another bullish forecast for the Bitcoin exchange rate.

“If bitcoin breaks 10k, you can bet it’s going to break 15k…” he tweeted.

Such a scenario would undoubtedly be beneficial for well-known brothers who make a major stake in the leading cryptocurrency. Earlier, they reported that in 2012 they acquired 1% of all Bitcoins in circulation then, when the BTC rate was about $9 per 1.

In the comments, users have shown that they, too, can exercise in the compilation of similar unsubstantiated forecasts. So, one of them claims that after lifting above $100k, Bitcoin will surely surpass a million.

Still, Tyler wrote a few words in support of his point of view:

It’s a cheap asset until it disrupts gold, however, the 2nd time breaking 10k will make it feel more “real” to many people.

I use the gold framework when thinking about bitcoin. So for instance, what makes gold valuable and how does bitcoin stack up in those areas. I also think about Metcalfe’s law because bitcoin is ultimately a network, not a company.

At the end of 2017, against the backdrop of the rapid growth of the cryptocurrency market, Winklevoss was named the first recognized Bitcoin billionaires in history.

Bitcoin is trading at around $9,300 at the time of publication, thus returning to its local peak.
