Altcoin News: Civic Launches a Machine for Selling Beer for Tokens

Blockchain startup Civic decided to get ahead of Starbucks and created a vending machine that sells beer for CVC tokens.
The Civic BD10 can be purchased for $15,000 and is available for pre-order.
The Civic BD10 vending machine allows users to distribute products according to age or according to individual criteria, it holds 150–500 units of goods depending on size.
According to Civic spokesman Titus Capilnean, the devices sell 150 beers per day, which is $7600.
“iPhone users with the Civic Pay app downloaded and with a verified identity received enough CVC to buy a beer. Each of the beers had a price of 200 CVC each,” he said. “The transactions made through the application are all settled in virtual currencies, and the idea is to interact with them in a very easy way.”
Now the company is negotiating with various companies about working with Civic products in niches where a better distribution of alcohol is required. Sports events and bars can be places where such vending machines can be used to check the age of people who buy alcoholic beverages. Civic also puts on music festivals.
