Altcoin News: IBM Patents Blockchain Web Browser

IBM filed a patent application that describes a blockchain-based web browser.
According to the application filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office on August 6, the browser will collect predefined information about Internet sessions, which will then be transmitted to peer network nodes for further storage.
The nature of the information collected will be determined by the selected extension. So, visiting the network from a workstation or home computer will require different settings. This includes addresses of visited sites, bookmarks, task execution, geolocation, plug-in installation, and security updates.
According to IBM, the blockchain browser allows the system to store information about a visit to the network in such a way as to preserve privacy and transfer it to the hands of the user rather than to some third party.
As the scope of the invention is called the prevention of attacks on the computer browser. In the case of using the blockchain, the user will always have a backup copy of the data.
The system also provides for the use of its own token. It will allow you to verify user activity while visiting the Internet and will be included in the peer-to-peer network blocks.
Earlier this week, it became known about the launch of the IBM Trust Your Supplier initiative, which was attended by companies such as Lenovo, Nokia and Vodafone.
