LinkedIn, a leading social network for searching and establishing business contacts reported that the blockchain skills were among the top ten for workers in the Asia-Pacific region.

The “The Future of Skills” — report provided by LinkedIn, reports that people who are especially capable of “setting up and managing a distributed and decentralized public ledger” are especially appreciated. People who are knowledgeable in artificial intelligence and work with regulators are also appreciated. Both of these areas are closely related to the blockchain industry.

The need for these skills shows the direction in which the industry is developing. Companies in certain industries are looking for such people, and this shows what changes they are looking for.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea occupy a special place — this is where developers of blockchain systems and artificial intelligence are most often required.

Note that at the end of last year, a social network conducted a study that showed that in the US, blockchain developers were searched for 33 times more often in 2018 than in 2017. At the same time, the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange ranked first in the ranking of large banking employers.
