Bitcoin Poised For International Takeover

The international, decentralized cryptocurrency; Bitcoin has made significant strides from the start of 2019, with huge upside, performing better than any other major asset in the UK. This has got investors hedging Bonds, Stocks, and Commodities against the top cryptocurrency.
But where will Bitcoin go from here?
Currently standing at the 11th largest monetary system in the world:
There are two significant outcomes in which the majority of investors and retail buyers are seeing;
Firstly a bearish scenario in which Bitcoin is significantly suppressed by some of the governments around the world. India being one of them, currently having trouble giving Bitcoin a legitimate light, this is seen as a phase that the cryptocurrency must pass through to gain worldwide acceptance. This scenario would facilitate no real mainstream growth in Bitcoin but more of a Retail boom in which a few retail investors would capitalize.
Secondly, we have seen a significant rise in the ‘big money’ flowing into the cryptocurrency market. Large investment firms such as Bakkt and Fidelity have made plans to pioneer the Bitcoin space. Bakkt is a digital asset infrastructure platform that will facilitate futures trading, provide custody solutions and utilize the potential of digital assets for payments. Fidelity is a financial investment company that is going to launch a cryptocurrency execution and custody service. Having these significant heavyweights moving millions of investors funds into the Cryptocurrency space would significantly increase the demand for Bitcoin and therefore the price. Following this boost in the price of Bitcoin, we may see a flood of retail investors buying small portions of bitcoin, this leading to a ‘Fear of Missing Out’ driving the price of Bitcoin to new highs.
We can only anticipate how suddenly the price of Bitcoin will rise. However something is for sure, the finite supply and mathematical basis that the Bitcoin is created on, is one of serious intrinsic value. It is only a matter of time before Bitcoin will have a market cap of the best asset in the world.
