An opportunistic endeavour reappeared at the ideal moment in time. A coin I had misplaced showed up in a briefcase. It showed up at the perfect time in life, just in time to book flights, a car rental and reasonable accommodations, with mid-day flight times and no restrictions stopping me. All I had to do was get to the PCGS Coin Grading Expo in Long Beach, California, for appraisal and paperwork — free of charge. And I was only going to be departing on September 29, 2021, and landing around 5 pm picked up my rental, drive 20 minutes to the hotel. Check in to my prepaid king suite. The whole trip would have cost less the $1500. Returning home on the second of October.

I have nothing else but writing which the hotel has wifi, so I could write about the fabulous expo as I daydream, the last 45 minutes away. I can’t do it. I could transfer Covid or a variant and not even know it.

I am FULLY VACCINATED-

Of course, I have the treasure. With the unpredictability of the economy and the future of travelling, this is a better time than never, just a few nights. Until the 2nd of October, I would return on another mid-day flight to arrive safely home during the day. I even…
