No. Satoshi Nakamoto did not “Invent” blockchain.

It’s true this so called Satoshi refined the peer to peer digital currency known as Bitcoin which uses blockchain circa 2008 but he did not create the concept.

Satoshi was 17 years late to the party.

In 1991 Stuart Haber and W. Scott Stornetta released an article titled How to Time-Stamp a Digital Document” in the Journal of Cryptology Vol .3, №2.

The document goes into great detail about how to solve the problem of verifying the integrity of a document using Cryptographic hashes and linking.
