How does it feel to know we made the bacon
taste better? Its origins
now the nightmares of every sensitive boy
who dare ask their parents: “But where
does money come from?”
As if the answer doesn’t hurt,
as if the answer is anything other than:
“Oh, you’ll see…” and an ice pack.
As if your vaults aren’t crying, empty,
missing their little green friends.
As if we didn’t make your navy suit
turn just a little sour
and teach your kids a lesson on our own.
