Week 14: preparing for the client presentation
The Disaster Artists spent the week preparing for our mid-semester presentation, where besides students and faculty, our clients will attend. We spent long hours rehearsing, planning and finishing slides, testing the disaster simulation game we wanted the audience to play and coding our website.
The game has players representing different roles in a community and having to select the necessary resources for their neighbourhoods during a disaster. When the disaster strikes, they will have to face challenges like flash floods and blackouts. The game was created by the Koshland Science Museum. The team playtested it with 9 volunteers.
After long our of work and dealing with last minute issues, like a failing projector, we now feel prepared to give an awesome presentation! Here is a sneak peek of some screens of our proposed solution:
