After creating our basic testing protocol last week, we began this week by creating rough wireframes to test with.

For each ‘concept’ we wanted to gain users’ opinions on, we designed a baseline screen. To test specific features, we then made slight variations on a baseline (control) screen to gauge the participant’s reaction/change in opinion in response to the new feature.

User Feedback

We got some great feedback from our participants! While some of our hypotheses were supported, many others were challenged, which is exactly the type of information we wanted to get out of our sessions. We plan to continue exploring the questions we did not get clear answers for in the next iteration of our prototype.

Next Iteration

Now that we have new insights from our first round of user testing, we are beginning our next iteration of screens. These will be at a slightly higher fidelity level, and we will be paying more attention to the UI components.

Stakeholder Interviews

In parallel to our user testing, we have continued to interview relevant stakeholders such as hospitals and caregiver representatives. While all of this information may not be immediately relevant to our interface, we are gaining some valuable insights that we could potentially incorporate into a roadmap.

Customer Journey Map

To synthesize the huge volume of information we have in our heads right now, we created our own version of a customer journey map, where we illustrated how our potential solution could change the current state and associated problems/breakdowns.
