It seems like time is moving increasingly fast and again a year continuously working on what we think will become one of the most innovative, gamified live-event and music-creation platforms draws to an end. Time for a quick update.

Improvements

We have finished our Minimum Viable Product (Roadmap, Milestone 1), added various features and environments and started to focus on the Alpha Version of TDVR.

In addition to a well functioning virtual DJ-set and initial event space we now have a first urban environment (Event Space District) of Berlin with a digital assets shop, club venue, off-location event-spaces and a beautiful view of the Berlin river and skyline.

Also, we integrated first digital street art into the environments, that at a later stage will be represented as NFTs on the LUKSO blockchain. We improved our multiplayer and will release new updates in the coming weeks and months ahead.

  • FX-Section (Improved)
  • Q-Points (Specific positions within a song, improved)
  • Waveform (Zoom-in/out)
  • Routing Options (Audience output, headphone output etc.)
  • Audio Input (Microphone, vocal performance)
  • Multiplayer (DJ and Vocalists can perform together from different locations)

Roadmap Update

A Non-VR version with an equally good gaming experience is becoming an increasingly important, complementary milestone of our roadmap. It will help the platform to increase the number of its total addressable audience and to gain more traction before VR technology really takes off.

Also, the integration of various music, culture and lifestyle-related mini game experiences and spaces will play a bigger role.

In addition, we updated our business model and are planning to integrate new features, play-to-earn and revenue models to our ecosystem.

As a result we are currently updating our roadmap and will share it with you as soon as possible.

Future Outlook 2023

We are excited to launch our Discord server soon to discuss various topics of TDVR with you, so that we can better understand your wants and needs.

At a later stage this year we plan to launch a Single-Player Early Access Version to invite early supporters to experience the initial environments and spaces as well as to check out the virtual DJ set and additional music composing tools and players.

In parallel, we will host various test events and will share more infos about that in the near future.

We wish our early supporters and the whole LUKSO community an amazing new year and can’t wait to meet you all in The District VR soon!
