Book recommendation: Sabriel (Abhorsen #1)

Sabriel is the the first of the Abhorsen series by Garth Nix. This book is such an enjoyable fantasy read, I’ve never read anything like it. Sabriel herself is a very likable female character; strong, smart, goal oriented but unmistakably feminine. The rest of the characters are so creatively written that you can’t help but continue reading until you know what they might do next.

Female power, magic and zombies…what’s not to like?!

I recommend to all fantasy fans…trust me, you will not be disappointed ;)
