Find The Light…
Musings on the first stormy morning of the season.
On Friday morning, going back to bed after Fajr prayer, I heard thunder rumbling outside, the heavens opened up and a brilliant hailstorm began. I breathed a sigh of utter relief. First stormy morning of the season, fall is officially here.
Light within Darkness
Lots of people feel dejected by overcast mornings. Me? I only see good and mercy in the cool raindrops washing away the unbearable heat of summer and awakening life in long dead soil.
It’s a reminder that even things that look bad to you may hide numerous blessings if you just look for them. Find the light in the darkness, even when someone plots against you and intentionally hurts you…they may unknowingly be doing you a service…think about it.
Treachery, treachery I fear; treachery of that miserable creature. But so it must be. Let us remember that a traitor may betray himself and do good that he does not intend. It can be so, sometimes. Good night!’
