Quote: Misery

Writing does not cause misery, it is born of misery.

I usually wait for October to pick up something by Stephen King, but I thought: it’s 2020..who knows what could happen before it’s even October. So Misery it is.

The man’s ability to evoke raw emotions with his books is insane. Even when the words are not his own.

I do actually believe this quote as true. It’s a truth you know but still feels like a slap when you think about it.
