We’re back with another exciting update on the progress of the SparkPoint Network! This month, our focus was on refining the Node Sale platform, ensuring a smooth user experience for the upcoming launch, and laying the groundwork for future interoperability with the bridge.

Node Sale Platform Enhancements

  • UI Update: We’ve prioritized user experience by revamping the Node Sale platform’s interface. This update aims to make the purchasing process of nodes more intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Contract Enhancements: The core Node Sale contract has been rewritten to precisely reflect the various node tiers available. Additionally, we’ve ensured seamless connectivity with other core contracts within the SparkPoint Network.
  • Deployment and Testing: The UI and contract updates have been successfully deployed to our staging environment and have undergone rigorous testing to identify and address any potential issues.

Testnet Block Explorer

  • RPC Fixes: We’ve tackled issues stemming from limitations imposed by certain RPC providers who were updating their limits. To address this, we’ve transitioned to a new provider offering superior performance and cost-efficiency, chosen after evaluating several options.

The Graph Upgrade

A seamless upgrade to The Graph was recently completed, ensuring continued smooth operation of the SparkPoint Network Explorer. This process involved:

  • Node Status Check: A thorough verification of the health of our nodes was conducted.
  • Support Team Collaboration: We collaborated with The Graph’s support team to ensure a smooth upgrade process.
  • Internal Upgrades: Necessary upgrades were also implemented on our end to maintain compatibility.

Please note: An update to the API endpoints associated with The Graph will be rolled out soon. However, SparkSwap Dapps will remain fully functional and unaffected by these changes.

Research & Development: SparkPoint Network Token Migration

The token migration, which will enable interoperability between the SparkPoint Network and other blockchains, is steadily progressing. Here’s what we’ve achieved in this area:

  • Framework Selection: We’re meticulously testing robust and compatible framework options to serve as the foundation for our bridge construction.
  • Self-Relay Message Testing: We’ve successfully conducted tests on self-relay messages, verifying the functionality of the bridge’s endpoint.

We’re thrilled with the advancements made in June and remain dedicated to bringing the SparkPoint Network to fruition. Stay tuned for further updates in the coming month!
