SparkPoint Updates #15: December 2020
The last month of the year, but definitely not the least. December 2020 featured some of the biggest updates in the history of SparkPoint as a company. Let’s take a look at 12 of them from the 12th and final month of 2020.

1. AMAs with Bigcoin Vietnam, The AMA Room, and ChangeNOW Communities
Our AMA caravan continued with 3 vibrant communities, Bigcoin Vietnam, The AMA Room, and ChangeNOW. If you missed our AMAs, you can read a recap of the highlights in our Medium article, SparkPoint AMA Series: Getting to Know More About SparkDeFi.
2. SparkPlay: Crypto Shooter 1.0 and Crypto Slicer Tournament 4 Ends
We’ve launched our 3rd game, Crypto Shooter out of early access. Version 1.0 final is now available for download on Google Play.

Crypto Slicer Tournament 4 sponsored by Hydro has also ended last month. The total prize pool includes 1M SRK plus 1M HYDRO tokens and will be distributed this week. The top 5 players will also receive Crypto Slicer NFTs. Congratulations to all the winners!

3. ChangeNOW Integration and Coinsbit Exchange Listing
We’ve integrated another DEX into our SparkPoint Wallet. You can now trade the tokens listed in our wallet including SRK with ChangeNOW.
SRK also listed in our newest exchange, Coinsbit, with 4 pairs: SRK/ETH, SRK/BTC, SRK/USD, and SRK/USDT. It is a top 60 exchange with $1.48B volume on CMC as of writing. Coinsbit was named “best trading platform launched in 2018” by Blockchain Life Asia.
4. New Team Member: Aldrick Bonaobra as Blockchain Developer
We’ve added a new member to the development team. Aldrick was part of the CryptoSolitaire team who won 13th place (out of 100+) in Decentraland’s Global Game Jam in 2019. Armed with both blockchain development and banking experience, Aldrick will help build the SparkDeFi platform on Binance Smart Chain.
5. SFUEL Token Generation Event and Initial DEX Offering
One of our biggest updates of 2020. We’ve launched our new token, SparkPoint Fuel or SFUEL after successful private and early supporters sales. SFUEL is SparkDeFi’s governance token and is a BEP-20 token on Binance Smart Chain.

150,000,000 SFUEL tokens have been generated and the first batch of tokens were sent to contributors. SFUEL also debuted on Pancake Swap paired with BNB and currently has $296K+ Total Liquidity.

6. SFUEL-BNB Liquidity Staking on Binance Smart Chain
Shortly after SFUEL’s Initial Dex Offering (IDO) on Pancake Swap, we launched the SFUEL-BNB Liquidity Staking on SparkDeFi to incentivize holders and liquidity providers while minimizing early selling. Stakers will earn rewards from a pool of 350,000 SFUEL tokens.

7. SFUEL Airdrop to SRK Holders, Liquidity Providers, and Stakers
As promised, we’ve sent SFUEL rewards to our community of SRK holders, liquidity providers, and stakers with a ratio of 1 SFUEL for every 2,609 SRK. Recipients were advised to install Trust Wallet or MetaMask for maximum compatibility with Binance Smart Chain. The process was smooth, fast, and cheap thanks to BSC’s Proof of Staked Authority. Choosing to launch SFUEL on BSC is already paying off.

8. SFUEL Listed on CoinMarketCap
SFUEL stats are now available on CoinMarketCap just a few days after launching. We want to thank the CMC support team for their fast response despite the holidays. SparkPoint SRK page on CMC was also updated with more relevant and accurate information for curious minds and to help in fundamental analysis.
9. #1 in BitMart’s 2020 Top 10 Crypto Gainers
SparkPoint SRK token was honored by BitMart as the #1 crypto gainer in their exchange during 2020 with 4,553.25% year-to-date return rate in USDT. Our project with a minimal budget of less than $50K has beaten other teams with multi-million dollar budgets, a fact that we’re very proud of.
10. New SparkLearn Course: How Banks Work
We’ve launched our latest FREE course on SparkLearn, Financial Literacy 101: How Banks Work. Special thanks to my wife, Quennie for preparing the short course during the holidays.
The SparkLearn team met this afternoon and discussed SparkLearn’s 2021 roadmap, improvements, and overall direction. Stay tuned for a new and improved SparkLearn this year.

11. Buy Back and Burn: 368M+ SRK Tokens Burned
Our BIGGEST burn event yet. 368,540,937 SRK tokens were burned equivalent to $715K+ as of writing. This reduced the total supply down to 14 billion tokens. The bulk of this amount was taken from the ecosystem fund and around 2.3M SRK tokens were bought back from HotBit. This Buy Back and Burn or “BBnB” program will continue every quarter until the total supply of SRK is reduced to 10 billion tokens.

12. $900K+ Total Liquidity on Uniswap
We started the year with less than $50K SRK-ETH liquidity and ended the year with almost $1M Total Liquidity on Uniswap with $1M+ reached just a day later. Increasing liquidity on Uniswap signals a growing market with a more mature set of holders. Uniswap has now become our top exchange with the highest liquidity and transaction volume.
