SparkPoint Updates #9: June 2020

Another month, another set of #sparkling updates from our team at SparkPoint. June has been our most exciting month so far. Here are 9 reasons why:

1. Verified Binance Widget Partner

We’ve integrated the Binance Widget on our SparkEarn platform. The Binance Widget allows visitors to buy and sell crypto on our SparkEarn website. It’s yet another way for new users to be introduce to crypto and promote adoption.

Aside from the Binance Widget, we’ve also integrated a link to BitMart. Though not a widget, it gives our users quick access to our most liquid exchange for SRK token so far.

We’ve also decided to reduce the SparkEarn rewards from 10,000 SRK tokens down to 5,000 SRK tokens to reflect the current increase in SRK’s price.

2. SRK Staking Program Conclusion

Our first staking program has concluded and we’ve sent the SRK interest earned to all verified accounts. We’re now working on the next staking program but this time it will make use of DeFi protocols. Using DeFi will provide a tangible return both to our SRK token in general and to the stakers in particular.

3. Crypto Burst 1,000+ Downloads and SRK Gaming Rewards

As part of our push towards a #PlayToEarn gaming model, we’ve launched SRK rewards to players who complete certain levels in Crypto Burst. Players can earn by completing the following levels:

🥉 Level 25: 2,500 SRK
🥈 Level 50: 5,000 SRK
🥇 Level 75: 7,500 SRK
🏆 Level 100: 10,000 SRK

For a total of 25,000 SRK.

Players only need to sign up on SparkEarn and undergo KYP (Know Your Player) verification. Last step would be to submit a YouTube gameplay video of them completing each of the 4 levels.

We also hit 1,000+ Crypto Burst downloads on Google Play.

Verification helps us prevent fraud. SRK Rewards are in short supply so if we allow fraudulent accounts to receive these rewards, legitimate players will be left with little to nothing.

4. SparkPoint Wallet and Games Updates

We’ve launched a few improvements to our SparkPoint Cryptocurrency Wallet and to our 2 games, Crypto Slicer and Crypto Burst. These include the much anticipated fix for the disappearing knife bug in Crypto Slicer. We’ve also added our PPC partner, 2key Network, as one of the big bosses in Crypto Slicer. Players can now also compete on who’s the best puzzle solver in the Crypto Burst leaderboards.

We were supposed to launch 50 new levels for Crypto Burst last June but we’re still not done testing the new levels. We want to make sure that the new levels are winnable without requiring players to buy powerups. Our games are NOT #PayToWin, our games are #PlayToEarn. We’re targeting to launch the first 30 levels by end of the week.

5. SRK Buy Back and Burn Program

We’ve burned a total of 78,237,748 SRK tokens last June 30 reducing the total supply down to 14,421,653,252 SRK tokens. 28,237,748 SRK tokens came from our Buy Back Program and the remaining 50M SRK tokens from our Team Wallet.

6. SRK Top Gainer on CoinMarketCap and New ATH

We’ve reached a new milestone for our SRK token. A new All Time High last June 7, 2020 at $0.000787 per token and we’ve breached the $1M Market Cap. We were also included in the top 5 of CoinMarketCap’s Biggest Gainers List for 6 days, our longest streak so far.

7. SRK-ETH Trading and Liquidity Pool on Uniswap

You can now trade SRK to ETH (and vice versa) on Uniswap. Uniswap is a DeFi protocol for trading and automated liquidity provision on the Ethereum blockchain. You can also add to the liquidity pool to earn fees that you can redeem anytime. We’re now also looking at using Uniswap or a similar protocol for our next SRK Staking Program. 8. Start of Crypto Slicer Tournament 3

Our 3rd Crypto Slicer tournament started last June 20 and will end this July 20. More than 2M SRK tokens in prizes will be awarded to top players. Winners who are holding at least 1 Crypto Slicer NFT will also get a bonus of 10%-50% on top of their prize. We initially required players to hold an NFT but decided to just make the NFTs as prize multiplier to reduce friction in joining the tournament. Read the official rules for more info.

9. Launch of srk.sh URL Shortener

We’ve launched srk.sh, a simple URL shortener to allow us to pack more info in our tweets. This will also give our users more confidence in clicking or typing in links by having a single source of truth when it comes to different links that we provide. And of course, having custom short links is cool and makes typing them more convenient.
