Let’s Focus on the Sponsors for Trudeau’s India Trip… Us

It’s all well and good that the world is finally realizing what a patronizing, out-of-touch, elitist Justin Trudeau is, but can we please focus on something other than his fashion choices for once?

Trudeau’s trip, which involved his entire family, fancy clothing, a celebrity chef, and $750 million in Canadian investment commitment, is at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer. Trudeau is plenty wealthy enough to pay for his own family’s vacation time. But when no one else is noticing the waste, I suppose he figures he doesn’t have to either.

Now, whining about how politicians spend tax money is a tale as old as time, but this is particularly egregious. 88,000 Canadians lost their job this past month. Would it really be impossible to take a few thousand dollars to bump up welfare spending over a family trip to India? Is that really too much to ask?
