Swimming in Plastic: Arctic Ocean Quickly Filling with Plastic Debris

It appears strong ocean currents and a shrinking Arctic are increasing the presence of plastic in the water off the coast of the Greenland and Barents seas. The rising levels of plastic in the water and on the ocean floor was noted in the journal Science Advances, following a study by researchers from the University of Cadiz in Spain.
