Turkey has invaded Syria in order to wipe out the Kurdish population from parts, if not all, of the country’s northern region. Unfortunately, this attack on the individuals largely responsible for holding back the ISIS tide from 2013–2015 has been met with only platitudes from world leaders. Now, the murder and mutilation of a Kurdish female fighter is making the rounds on social media. Hopefully the shocking imagery will be enough to get the world to wake up to this crisis.
