Congratulations! You’re a diploma holder, and freshly done with high school/secondary school years. The choices are limitless, and yet the thought of what’s next in life seems overwhelming.

You approach your friends for advice, but everyone’s talking about university admission essays, application deadlines, major choices etc. So, you try seeking advice from other friends, and you realized that their “next in life” plans aren’t centered around universities at all; conversations about finding lucrative part-time jobs, short-term internships, start-up businesses etc, is all you’re hearing.

Now, you’re lost. What should you do now? Well, just like what the title suggest…

Why not consider doing both at the same time?

Woah, that sounds great for the challenging insane hustlers who don’t know the meaning of “rest”. I’m suggesting this (no, not because I’m a challenging insane hustler), as it seem like a viable choice after my graduation three years ago.

Before you respond with objections and reasons why it’s better to choose one or the other, or clicking out of this article to submit yourself to sleepless nights of weighing between working or furthering your studies, hear me out.
