What is The Geek Hub looking for? If you’re a gamer, cosplayer, Whovian, Trekkie, lover of Star Wars, comic book fanatic, Comic-Con reveler, someone who is still waiting for Firefly to come back…you get the idea, this place is for you.

You can write about anything, as long as you have something interesting to say.

Now, I don’t mean anything. But you can write about any aspect of your favorite TV shows, cons, movies, games, comics, etc. — as long as it isn’t inappropriate or overly critical/negative. First things first, make sure you comply with Medium’s Rules and Ad-Free Policy.

Here are some additional things to take note of:

  1. We don’t publish fiction, and prefer unpublished drafts.
  2. We aim to publish stories daily. Maximum of 1 story per day per writer.
  3. Your blog must include images with cited sources. We reserve the right to cut down on images if we feel the piece has become cluttered with too many.
  4. ALWAYS BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL. The Geek Hub is meant to foster community and discussion — and sometimes, debate — but don’t let things become too heated. Always be kind and respectful when interacting with other members of The Geek Hub.
  5. Understand that your submission might have to be edited for grammar or formatting. If we feel the submission content requires additional editing, we will email you.

If you’re added as a writer for us, check out this info on how to submit your draft to our publication.
