March for Science Holds a Satellite March in Poughkeepsie

The March for Science, held on Saturday, April 23, was a nationwide movement centered in Washington D.C. in support of evidence-based decision making and the importance of scientific research. In Poughkeepsie, local residents of the Hudson Valley gathered in Mural Park on Main Street and marched down to Waryas Park in support of the American scientific community.
