At the heart of Millbrook’s beauty lays its 30-acre vineyard, where its meticulously nurtured vines create some of the best grapes in the region. Guided walking trails snake through the estate, offering guests the opportunity to explore the stunning vineyards and soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Daily wine tastings encourage enthusiasts to savor the rich flavors of Millbrook’s esteemed collection. Weekends at Millbrook are truly a feast for the senses, with local food trucks adding a culinary flair to the winery experience from May through October. As the sun sets, the estate comes alive with the soulful melodies of summer jazz concerts, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy for the whole family to enjoy. The beauty at Millbrook does not only lay outside in its vineyards, but indoors as well. Step into the enchanting world of Millbrook’s 1940s Dutch-style barn and discover The Loft; an elegant and rustic wine tasting venue. With its towering ceilings and original wood finish, The Loft offers a charming backdrop for weddings, private gatherings, and corporate events. From intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations, every occasion is elevated by the breathtaking views of the vineyard and the majestic Catskill Mountains beyond. The Loft also will hold an art exhibit for all guests to explore starting in May 2024. For a more casual wine tasting event or experience, guests can visit the Vineyard Taproom and Terrace. Located in a barn style building just adjacent to the vineyards, you can enjoy wine, charcuterie boards and non-alcoholic beverages all while overlooking the vineyard and the Catskill Mountains from the shaded Taproom Terrace.

“My friends and I have been coming to this winery for years. We love how it is a very unique experience where you get to fully decide what you do. Sometimes we wine taste inside with a flight, sometimes we buy a bottle and go walk the trail and sometimes we enjoy the food trucks and music outside of the main building!” says visitor Lorri Pirozzi.

Millbrook Vineyards and Winery is a part of the Pebble Ridge Vineyards & Wine Estates; a well known and esteemed wine group established by John and Kathe Dyson. John Dyson’s wine journey began at Cornell University, where he discovered his passion for wine while impressing a date with a jug of wine at a fraternity party. This interest led to enrolling in a wine course at Cornell’s hotel school. In 1979, John and Kathe met in Washington, DC, and began their wine venture by converting an old dairy farm in Millbrook, NY, into Millbrook Vineyards & Winery. Expanding their portfolio, they now oversee Villa Pillo in Tuscany, Italy and Williams Selyem in California, renowned for their Pinot Noir. They are committed to crafting the finest wines reflective of their unique areas as the group owns several renowned properties.

Whether you’re a seasoned wine aficionado or a curious explorer seeking to uncover the essence of Hudson Valley’s wine culture, Millbrook Vineyards & Winery promises an unforgettable experience. You can visit the winery daily from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
