For families looking to immerse themselves within wild jungles, hidden cities, and even outer space this summer, they should look no further than to spend the night at the Walkway Over the Hudson for Movies Under the Hudson.

This marks the fourth year in which the The Millman Harris Romano Foundation and the Walkway Over the Hudson are hosting a series of five feature films to show right underneath the beautiful Walkway Over the Hudson. On select Saturday’s throughout the summer, the Hudson Valley community will be able to attend free showings of some of this year’s biggest blockbusters to date.

“This year, we’ve just announced that we will be showing, Wonder Woman, Jumanji — Welcome to the Jungle, Star Wars — The last Jedi, Coco, and Black Panther and we couldn’t be more excited, said Jode Millman, lead organizer for the Movies Under the Hudson. “We were able to get some of the biggest movies of the year and we hope that people are as excited for it as we are! Ideally this will continue to get families to come out for and experience all of what Poughkeepsie has to offer.”

However, movies are not the only form of attraction that these nights have to offer, as outside of these films, families are able to show up early for the chance to grab some food from street vendors and hear some live local music. Plus every time, there is a special event that occurs ranging from free karate classes, to group folk dancing, to even an outdoor petting zoo.

“Our goal is to create a fun event for families of all ages. Whether your a little boy or girl, a teenager, or a parent, we want you to take part in the community and enjoy a ice summers night with the ones you love.”

The dates for the following movies is listed below. For more information pertaining to everything that is going on, check out the Movies Under the Hudson Facebook page.
