Sports can change lives!!!

Sports has have a big impact on athletes life for better and for worse. Sports have changed children’s behavior towards people and obstacles in life out of school and in school. Also people that are in sports professionally have a lot more to worry about. Children Athletes in sports also learn a lot about confidence and make them realize the goals they thought would never be accomplished. I have read read that the more kids that get into sports the better chance they have to exceed and accomplish thing they thought they couldn’t. Also, I have looking at charts of children that do sports and the kids that don’t and I’ve noticed that the kids in sports have a lot more goals and believe in those goals. So I believe personally kids should be introduced to sports at a young age. Also behavior problems were mostly changed in young girls mostly the young boys so it’s even beneficial for everyone. The kids have something to look for when playing sports gives them chance to do things they didn’t think possible.

So I have researched and found out that kids have really changed behaviorally when they are into sports. For example, I have seen charts on kids that have been in sports and the ones that have been in sports have a lot more goals and have better behavior. This is important because the generations of kids these days are becoming less respectful than kids use to be so if you can get into sports then you will have better respect for people their age and older.This shows that the more kids get into sports the better respect they have for other. Also in recent studies Kelly Holmes found out that sports help with discipline for young girls more than young boys. This implies that girls can get a lot out of sports sometimes more than boys. This is important because it showing you that a sport can really change the lives of our future generations to come. Also growing up myself i’ve been kind of a troublemaker but once I set my goals and mindset to sports I seemed to stop all my juvenile behaviors. This shows that not only did sports help me change my ways it helped me respect others the way I would want to be treated.This implies that sports really did change the way I thought and treated others.

Sports can also help more then just behaviorally. For example Kelly Holmes states(”Through sport, children have a real opportunity to gain confidence and a voice. It can help them realise or even exceed what they previously thought might be the limit of their potential.”) This is important because it is telling you that kids are gaining confidence in themselves which is well needed when it comes to school or example a job interview. This implies that sports shapes the minds of our future generation which will help us in our economy in the future the smarter kids the better chooses they will make.

Furthermore, i’ve have my own experience with sports and the benefits. After I have dedicated my life to sports I learned the the harder you work the better it will be for you to understand. For example, I never use to try in math till sports and every time I do math I work on it as hard as I can just like I did with sports. This is important because it helped with not only setting my mind on a task it gave me another lesson to work hard and at the end you will achieve any goal you want to. This shows you that with a little hard work anything you want to be in this world can be achieved just with hard work and dedication. Also If you start doing sports for a long time there a change you might become a leader one day. For example, I played basketball when I i was younger and was always the shy kind of guy but after a couple of years they put me as captain and Ii was nervous so i had to learn how to be a leader in the game. This implies that if I ever had to be a leader out of sports I could be since i had the experience already somewhat. This is important because you never know when a situation will call for you to be a leader it’s definitely a skill everyone should learn the world would be alot better place with more leaders and less followers.

Another reason sports is a good thing for kids beside mentally but also physically. For example, I use to be overweight just like one of my friends we made a deal that we would play sports and lose weight. So that’s what we did we ended up losing 40 pounds each which was a higher goal than I thought I would reach. This means that sports helped my physical appearance and helped a lot with my confidence. Which implies that if you have a goal and you want to reach it then all it takes is a little hard work to make what you thought was impossible, possible.

In conclusion with my article I was mainly establishing the fact that sports has so many benefits. It can help you with weight problems. Also can help with your behavior also the way you look at things and the way you work it has many ways to help you it’s just up for you to want to take control and make something great out of it. So if you have a kid that wants to do sports make sure you do your best to encourage him to play sports I promise you will be happy with your child’s improvement.
