When people think of anime, they think of fight scenes and fictional worlds. Many people neglect to acknowledge the animes that are more melodramatic and thought-provoking. Erased is one of these anime. Erased isn’t loaded with fight scenes or fictional characters, it’s simply a dramatic, mysterious thriller.

In “Erased,” the producers have a different take on anime by creating a plot that involves kidnaps and murders and leads up to the main character solving crimes.

The fictional aspect of “Erased” is that the main character, Saturo, is somehow able to travel back in time to both prevent and solve crimes. The show contains only twelve episodes. Despite the short length of the show, it doesn’t feel as though it ended abruptly. The writers created an ending that was appropriate for the significance of the plot.

“Erased” is a good show for many reasons. It’s short and intruiging, making the series bingeable. “Erased” makes the audience want to find out more about the crimes of each episode, keeping the audience on their toes with suspicion.

“Erased” creatively incorporates emotional reactions throughout episodes by portraying bonds that grow as the season goes on.

The audience gets to see the characters learn and grow with each other. By including the audience in the minds of the characters, it creates an inspirational aspect to the show.

“Erased” inspires the audience with its overarching theme of standing up for those who need someone. Just like most anime, the main character has a strong resolve to accomplish his goal. And, as a result, Saturo achieves his goal of catching the criminal.

“Erased” is a unique anime that can entertain many audiences because of its intriguing nature. It is an interesting take on crimes and investigations as “Erased” occurs through time travel.

The soundtrack and visuals all contribute to the show by giving the audience more of a sense of mood taking place. To conclude, all aspects of the show come together well, making “Erased” a solid anime to watch.
