Blood and Prejudice: A Vile Twist on a Beloved Classic

Like many of you, I am a huge fan of Jane Austen’s work. Recently, I made a joke about writing a Pride and Prejudice parody with vampires and werewolves. That joke has turned into what you’re about to read now . . . (I’m not sure if I should apologize or expect your gratitude.)

Our beloved protagonist, Elizabeth, has never met a vampire before. She’s content to keep it that way, but she has no choice when Mr. Bingley, a reputable vampire, moves into Netherfield Park. He brings along his friend, Mr. Darcy, a brooding vampire that seems to have no interest in consorting with humans.

Things get even more interesting when one of the werewolf packs that serve the king takes residence in Meryton, Elizabeth’s hometown. Elizabeth befriends one of them — Mr. Wickham.
