Buena Vista Restaurant Recommendations

Everyone I know loves going out to eat. I am no exception to that. In this article I will bring you 3 delicious options for you to go if you live around Buena Vista, Virginia. These restaurants are all located in downtown Buena Vista and are highly rated in their profiles on Google.
The first restaurant I want to mention is JJ’s Meat Shak. They are open from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Fridays and Saturdays they are open until 9 p.m. JJ’s has been around for a while and they are proud of their huge selection of culinary creations. Their menu varies from scrumptious barbecue to honest-to-goodness American cuisine. They have been given some awards to show off, which include, “The Best Burgers 2021” and “The Best Steaks” given by Restaurant Guru 2021.
I’ve been there a few times and they didn’t disappoint. I got burgers, briskets and pork.
The second restaurant I believe is a good option here in Buena Vista is the Canton Chinese Restaurant. They open everyday and during Fridays and Saturdays they stay open until 10:30 p.m. They serve a big variety of Asian food that goes from “General Tso’s Chicken” and dumplings to any combination of “Lo mein” and “Chop Suey.”
Kristo Puente (25’), a student at Southern Virginia University, says of his experience there, “The food was affordable, had a good portion sizes and they tasted great.”
Lastly, another great restaurant located in Buena Vista is called the Original Italian Restaurant. This restaurant is a family-run company that focuses on serving pizza, pastas, wings, and other classic Italian dishes. They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. They deliver, but also have takeout or dine-in options.
The Original Italian Restaurant makes their own bread and sauces, which makes them really fresh and tasty. If you like Italian food, this is the place to go here in Buena Vista.
