Looking to spice up your wardrobe this cold season? Check out some of the highlighted trends below to create your own warm style!

Color Scheme

First, let’s start with a color scheme. Two colors that scream winter is brown and a deep red. Browns have been on a roll for a little while, so it’s no surprise it’s still in style. Dark red, however, is a little unexpected. The color was first popular when people started dyeing their hair. Now, it has transitioned to clothes. This color gives the perfect balance of vibrance and mystery, a powerful aesthetic.

Sweaters

As the colder months approach, one thing in everyone’s wardrobe should be big sweaters, especially striped patterns. This style of sweater is a classic pattern that you can’t go wrong with. Play with different necklines: turtleneck, v-neck, low swooping, or vest. Also, look for different textures to mix and match with. Whether it’s fleece, wool, or cotton, I’m sure it will look great!

Pants

Another staple piece are trousers. These simple pants can be dressed up or dressed down to match whatever vibe you’re going for. They come in great neutral colors which makes it easy to highlight other parts of your outfit. A medium brown is especially good to fit all the aesthetics.

Layering

An important part of any outfit is layering. Layering can elevate your outfit and create the perfect vibe you want to give off with your fit. Turtlenecks, long sleeves, and collars are great to add contrast in breaking up types of clothes and colors. Jackets are also another great layering option. Other greater layering options are flannels, suit jackets, coats, and vests.

Try to get out of your comfort zone and explore different ways to style your clothes. Incorporate some of these options into your next outfit and tell us what you think!
