Looking for your next photoshoot location? Look no further, below are some places with the best fall vibes for your newest Instagram picture.

Anywhere along the Blue Ridge Parkway will have great fall aesthetics, especially as the leaves start to change. At the Blue Ridge, you’ll be surrounded by the prettiest reds, oranges, and yellows (capturing the perfect moment for yourself or friends). There are also a couple simple waterfalls and streams that would also create a beautiful background!

When you’re out and about, take time to look closely at your surroundings; you might find some new friends to capture pictures of!

Another great place for photo inspiration is one of the many festivals or pumpkin patches that are held around the Buena Vista area. The Layman Family Farm is less than an hour away from campus and offers many fun attractions such as a 10-acre corn maze, hay wagon rides, farm animals, concessions, and many more for a reasonable price.

If you’re looking for a closer scene for your photos, look around campus! In honor of the fall season, haystacks and pumpkins have been perfectly placed in front of Stoddard. Southern Virginia’s pumpkin patch is perfect to enjoy the fall aesthetics. Gather your friends and take some fun candids with each other!

While you’re around all the *free* pumpkins, grab a pumpkin or two and carve it into a spooky face. If you’re committed enough to a great photo, put it on your heads and take some Halloween themed pictures.

If you’re not willing to put pumpkins on your head, that’s okay! The trail behind the lofts (leading to the fields) is another simple place with great scenery. Surrounded by the changing trees, you’ll have a popping backdrop that will easily grab your Instagram follower’s attention!

You definitely don’t have to take photos or put pumpkins on your head. But, you should take some time to experience the new season and all the great changes that come with it!
