Curious about what video games students are playing around campus? I have been. Whether on social media feeds or dorm room screens, video games are all over and a popular pastime for many students.

While I was on campus this week, I asked what games people have been playing lately. Here are the top games on campus:

Fortnite

Fortnite continues to be popular since its release in 2017. Its large selection of game modes, fast-paced gameplay, and frequent updates keep players coming back. Whether you’re riding the battle bus with your friends in squad mode or going solo, you are going to have a lot of fun.

Call of Duty: Warzone

Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale game. Warzone has a few different game modes to choose from. Just like Fortnite, you can play with some friends or on your own. Warzone’s realistic graphics and gameplay can provide a great break from your studies.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Smash is a staple in the gaming community. There is a wide variety of characters to choose from as you prepare for battle ensuring that there will always be something new to discover. The simple controls and exciting gameplay make it a great game to play casually or in a competitive tournament with friends.

Madden

For many sports fans, Madden is a go-to. Madden gives players a realistic NFL experience allowing them to play with their favorite teams and players. Games can be played with players around the world or with friends.

As someone who mostly plays Warzone, maybe it is time for me to branch out and see what these other games have to offer. What game will you try?
