With the start of the new year, Taco Bell released their new Cravings Value Menu. Almost all of the items have changed on this menu. When I realized that Taco Bell discontinued the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito, I was furious. That was the go-to order for me and it was only $2! I prefer ordering chicken from Taco Bell because the ground beef always seems like a risk. Now, the only chicken burrito on the Cravings Value Menu is the Chicken Enchilada Burrito, which does not even compare to the tastiness of the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito.

Nobody goes to Taco Bell because they want to eat healthy, but the Chipotle Ranch Burrito actually had some vegetables in it to make you think it is healthier. The Chicken Enchilada Burrito has no vegetables whatsoever, so you can’t even pretend that it has any health benefits at all. You can tell by looking at the picture of the Chipotle Ranch Burrito that it is good. I can not say the same for the other products. Some of them look like straight dog food.

Even though most of the new Cravings Value Menu items look unappealing, I did try one that is actually pretty good. The 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt is a good option if you are craving a chicken quesadilla type item with a spicy kick of chipotle sauce. However, this item is just a Walmart version of the Chipotle Ranch Burrito. All we can do now is have hope that Taco Bell can bring back this powerhouse of the Cravings Value Menu.
