A mocktail is a non-alcoholic beverage that is made to mirror the creativity of cocktails. Unlike mocktails, these skip the alcohol but still include the flair and the fun. They are refreshing concoctions that blend various ingredients in order to create a magical fairytale of flavors.

“Just like the fairytale, a Cinderella drink combines humble ingredients to create a bit of magic. This fruity mocktail does not require the skill of a fairy godmother. In just a few pours and a shake, you’ll have a delicious drink in hand. And no one will be any wiser as to how you performed your mixing magic.” — Natalie Battaglia

This recipe makes 1 serving and takes a total time of 5 minutes.

  4. Add ginger ale or soda water and bitters (if using) and gently stir.
  5. Garnish with your choice of orange, pineapple or cherries.

Notes and Tips:

  • You can use either ginger ale, soda water, or a combination of both.
  • For a party, increase quantities by 5 or more to make Cinderella punch. If making the punch in advance, add the ginger ale or soda water right at the end so you don’t lose the fizz.
  • You can add 2–3 dashes of Angostura bitters to add a bit of complexity to this drink, you’ll be excited to know that you can buy non-alcoholic bitters.
  • If you don’t have a shaker, you can use a mason jar or just stir with a spoon.
  • Shaking mixes up the ingredients and chills your drink faster than stirring. It also ensures your ingredients are mixed properly.
  • Pomegranate juice is a great substitute for grenadine.
  • Garnish to add that aesthetic pop.
