Black laced fingers, spidery an long,
Crawl up my arm where they do not belong,
The most haunting thing this season I fret,
Is not the goblins on my doorstep,
Or the witches that cackle o’re a simmering brew,
It’s the touch of a stranger that just met you,
It makes me shiver and wither in fright,
I’m all alone on this brisk Fall night,
So please, don’t grab anything without asking,
That’d be the wrong kind of spell that you’re casting,
It isn’t polite, it’s frankly quite rude,
So don’t touch without permission my dude.
