SVU Unveils New Website

As SVU progresses and grows, there arises the need to have technological advancements to keep up with the university’s growth. With multiple hands working, the school published a new website that meets multiple various needs. The new website is more advanced and user friendly compared to the older website.
If you see any problems, please fill out the feedback form. The school told the university community that there is a feedback button on the right of the page to click on when problems arise.
The new website feels sleek and modern, with minimalistic words and pictures that will stand the test of time. This simplicity helps keep page viewers on task and ensures that university areas are easier to access through the website as the links are simpler and to the point. The home page is highlighted by a video encompassing all of the great traditions and experiences felt at SVU. As the video rolls through, the viewer finds themselves engulfed in the feel on campus. There are the three short words that stand out on top of the video: “You Belong Here.” Potential students see this and are drawn in as they feel the connection, and all who are already on campus are reassured of their belonging.
The general menu is divided into six simple items for easy access: About, Academics, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Life, and Giving. These six points are the main priorities of the university. Feel free to go check out the smaller menus under each category.
