CPU MINING IS NO LONGER VIABLE WITH KIWI!
PLEASE VISIT http://thekiwi.online for up to date mining instructions.

While the hashrate is low, it is completely possible to solo mine KIWI.

KIWI Contract Address: 0x2BF91c18Cd4AE9C2f2858ef9FE518180F7B5096D
https://etherscan.io/address/0x2bf91c18cd4ae9c2f2858ef9fe518180f7b5096d

Things you need:

  1. An ethereum account with some Eth loaded on it
  2. Your own infura.io url — signup here http://infura.io/signup
  3. The MVis Token Miner — https://github.com/mining-visualizer/MVis-tokenminer/releases

Note:

These instructions were written with MVis-tokenminer 2.1.13

Steps:

  1. Download and extract the Miner to your computer.
  2. Open up the tokenminer.ini file in notepad, and add your information using the below as a guide. Note that you should look for the different sections and replace with your information:
Host=https://mainnet.infura.io/your_api_key
RPCPort=8545
MinerAcct=0x........................................
AcctPK=.............................................................
TokenContract=0x2bf91c18cd4ae9c2f2858ef9fe518180f7b5096dGasPrice=5

You are now ready to start mining.

  1. Open up a cmd window.
  2. Browse to where you extracted the miner.
  3. Run the following command:
tokenminer.exe -S -C -t 1

The above command is starting your miner with CPU mining with 1 thread.

And we are CPU mining. :)

Good luck.
Adam.
