Before we start, a quick thing that I want to ask you, I hope that you are safe and taking care of yourself in these tough times? Please please please, prioritize health over anything else at this time, and do take care and proper precautions while going out.

Let’s talk about my aim…

When I began my journey (~3.5 years ago), it all started with me facing a lot of trouble in finding proper resources to learn things, all I wanted was someone who could guide me.

Fast forward 1.5 years, 2 things happened

  1. I fell in love with programming
  2. I decided that since I had a rough path in finding proper resources and a learning path, no one else should go through the same.

And that was the moment where I decided to help the community as much as possible. Since then, I’ve been forming collaborations with many open source communities, and taking countless free initiatives to increase the enthusiasm towards coding!

Till now, I’ve reached over 65,000 people with 15+ free initiatives and countless speaking events. Now last month, I decided to take it one step further. Keep reading, there are a couple of big things I wish to tell you!

Me (in one of my sessions)

The start of a new journey

Last month (April 2021), I started forming “The Lean Programmer” community!

I formed a small team, and started 4 new things!

  1. The Lean Programmer Monthly Newsletter
  2. The Mega React Tutorial + Monthly Giveaway
  3. The Lean Programmer Publication
  4. The Lean Programmer LinkedIn Page

And I am super excited to tell you everything about it.

You are currently reading the first edition of our monthly newsletter, and while writing it, I am so excited to tell you everything that happened over the last month.

The Mega React Tutorial

Okay, let’s imagine something together. Let’s imagine that there was a course,

  • That is completely FREE!
  • That is project-oriented,
  • That provides a hands-on learning experience,
  • That makes you build a cool project for every concept,
  • Where you learn and build everything from scratch?
  • Where you can learn at your own pace?
  • And, you even get a chance to win a free t-shirt every month?

You must be saying, Hey Madhav, THIS SEEMS UNREAL!

No, my friend, all of this is real. My aim is to make everyone fall in love with programming, and increase the enthusiasm towards active learning!

I’ve published the AAM (An App a Month) series, where I teach you React by helping you make some cool applications completely from scratch!

Check out this video to learn more about it.

Check out the full course on my YouTube channel, and enjoy learning (I bet that you are going to fall in love with ReactJS after completing the course)- https://youtube.com/TheLeanProgrammer

Oh, btw, don’t forget to apply for the free giveaway by 22nd May — https://theleanprogrammer.com/aam/giveaway1

The Lean Programmer Publication

It was my dream to empower as many people in tech as I can, and this is a huge step in that direction.

Before we go forward, let me tell you some benefits of writing,

  • The more you write, the more you learn
  • More visibility = More opportunities
  • Make a difference
  • Express yourself, be heard
  • Share your skill, passion, and knowledge
  • Improve your writing skills
  • Network with more people
  • Increases your online presence
  • Improves your online portfolio
  • Become an authority
  • Learn new things
  • Document your journey

And much more! (There are countless benefits of blogging)

One of my ambitions was to encourage people to write to share their knowledge and document their journey, and to accomplish this, I formed this new publication with my small team.

I am super happy to tell you that today, we are a team of 100+ writers and within a month, we published over 40 blogs.

It makes me super happy to have a family of over 100 writers and over 2.4k newsletter subscribers.
