Most of us have been totally into social media be it LinkedIn, Instagram, or Twitter. On LinkedIn, we find tons of people completing specializations in the fields of ML, AI, and CC(well this is what I saw though) or many bios of being ML, AI, and CC enthusiasts. So this made me think what’s the buzz about?

Obviously at the end its a person’s sole interest and passion that drives them towards a particular domain!! and yes do not hesitate to follow it!

Let’s check out the search trends of India:

Google search trends showing AI being most searched in India followed by ML and CC

So the above image shows the search results of ML, CC, and AI in India where ML is found to be the most searched followed by AI and Cloud Computing. While ML is a subset of AI, it’s more searched when compared to AI (although you can learn ML irrespective of your knowledge in AI).

AI and ML:

AI vs ML

Machine learning (ML) is the study of computer algorithms that improve automatically through experience and by the use of data.It is seen as a part of Artificial Intelligence.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals, which involves consciousness and emotionality.

Also one can’t deny the applications and efficiency of ML and AI such as NLP, Recognition systems and also its evolution in healthcare, gaming, data security, and many other domains makes it efficient and much usable these days.

Cloud Computing:

features of cloud computing

Cloud computing is the on-demand availability of computer system resources, especially data storage (cloud storage) and computing power, without direct active management by the user. The term is generally used to describe data centers available to many users over the Internet.

On the other side cloud computing is also very effective, feasible, affordable and scalability attracting thousands of businesses towards it while providing security and ease of access for the businesses.

Conclusion:

In the end ML, AI and Cloud computing have their own importance and wide range of applications which also differs accordingly on the basis of their demand, evolution and also depends on a person’s interest to go for one among various domains. The debate is still going on whether they are overhyped or are they really making that much impact.
