Art as a Mirror

As our society grows with its different aspects coming into being, art takes a turn. Culture of a society is presented through arts. It reflects the origin of the people of a particular group and their perception of life. Art is a mirror of our society which plays a major role in creating awareness. It reflects the people of the society.
Just take a moment sit down, grab a piece of paper and jot down whatever comes to your mind. The expression that now you have filled with ink is what your mind perceives. During the process of creating your work one paints and displays all the questions that comes to their mind. Art is a mode of self expression that displays the thoughts of one’s mind. It does not only lie on a piece of paper as it may be any subject of art whether it be drama, dance, photography or crafts or painting.
This reflection of oneself creates self awareness. It tells you the things that one lacks behind. When life takes a turn just take a piece of paper and draw whatever you feel will express yourself whether it just be a black and white painting. That reflects your inner self. Life is full of ups and downs. Things that cannot be put in the limited vocabulary provided to us are displayed in a form of our imagination. Use your art as a mirror to look into.
We stand in front of mirrors for hours to scrutinizing ourself. We try to observe through our body language the qualities we lack behind. The thing that is most important is how our mind works the thoughts that overcome every moment of our life. Art is a representative of oneself. It fills colour to our thoughts. Whatever we draw describes the situation of our mind and helps us deal with situations. Through creativity we widen our thinking which makes us think beyond the problems of our life.
