Total distance. 278.5km

Total time. 9h 43m

Total climbing. 2907m

Ride 1. 76.6km. 2h 31m, ave speed 30.4km

Fast ride with Richard CS taking it in turns to push for 3km’s on the front.

Ride 2. Swift NZR Tempo ride, 45km, 1h 10m, ave speed 38.2km

Tried my first group ride on Zwift, which was good but didn’t feel like a very hard work out.

My ave power as measured by Swift was showing my output to be way higher than the other riders and after some digging on settings I realised my weight was set as 80lbs not 80kgs — I wish. Sorted now.

Ride 3. Swift SST (Med) workout, 37.2km, 1h 25m, ave speed 26.2km

Good solid work out although heart rate didn’t go over the 135 mark.

I find it hard to hit a stead power output on Zwift and I’m not sure if this is me riding inconsistent or if its due to connection

Ride 4. 119.7km, 4h 36m, ave speed 26km

Two part ride. First section was 56km with Richard CS out to Woodstock, then after a coffee, brownie and taking in the impressive selection of Ferrari’s and Porsche’s i hit the road again, this time heading to Compton Abdale with Owen H on a nice steady 65km of rolling hills.

Feeling strong. Good solid first week.
