How This Montreal Artist Was Invited To Colab With Banksy
As we reported earlier this month, a Montreal artist, Dominique Pétrin, received a call last year that she soon won’t forget. The call was from the infamous street artist and international man (woman?) of mystery, Banksy who invited Pétrin to collaborate on a new project of his — The Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem, facing the West Bank.
Initially Pétrin was kept in the dark, only being told small tidbits of information about what the project was about, but she was eventually flown to Israel, sequestered to a hotel room and went to work on her design (photos below).
