Seu Jorge Is Bringing “The Life Aquatic Tribute To David Bowie” To Montreal
Like many, we were first introduced to Brazilian actor/singer Seu Jorge in Wes Anderson’s 2004 film The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. Despite acting alongside such stars as Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe & Jeff Goldbloom, Jorge’s performance stood out notably for his Portuguese covers of David Bowie hits spread out throughout the film.
Inspired by the positive feedback from the film, Jorge recorded a full studio album of his Bowie covers in 2005 called “The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions”. This September, Jorge is bringing his critically acclaimed live show, The Life Aquatic — A Tribute to David Bowie, to St-Denis Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday morning @ Evenko.
