The Polestar 4 test car spotted in China, thanks to a Weibo User we now have images of the real Tesla’s Model Y competitor. This electric vehicle is not yet available. The Polestar 4 is still a mystery, Polestar has been carful not to share too much detail with the public, The car is set for a 2023 debut, this is all part of Polestar global expansion plan and it strikes at the heart of the competitors such as Tesla.

The user wrote via Weibo “This set of spy photos has been circulated for more than ten days, but everyone’s attention has been snatched by Lotus Type 133. In fact, Figures 1 and 2 are the first photos of the Polestar 4 (P417) road test drive. Polestar 4 is a medium-sized crossover/coupe SUV of PMA1. Its chassis is similar to that of 001, its wheelbase is close, and its overall length is slightly shorter. Figures 6 and 7 are preview pictures. Figure 5 is Jidu ROBO-01. In addition, BX1E, Panda mini, Boyue L, etc. were photographed in the convoy, and we will not release any new information.”

The Polestar 4, based on the Geely SEA platform and PMA architecture, was recently observed in China for the very first time. Test production in march 2023 for the 4WD pure electric SUV-coupe will initiate at Hangzhou Bay, Ningbo. The car boat a 600 km WLTP range.

Polestar has yet to share details of the 4 SUV; all that is visible is a teaser shot of the car under a covering. Reports have indicated this model could feature an athletic aesthetic similar to that of its predecessor, the Polestar 3.

The photos shows a sedan-style car, however the P4 is said to be an SUV, Tesla Model Y SUV is the closest competitor comparison.

The design of this vehicle has yet to be finalised, the test car features are stiking and very similar to the Polestar 2 sedan and Precept. The car features split headlights.
