The end is in the beginning and lies far ahead. — Ralph Ellison

Happy Juneteenth dear reader.

It is time for me to stop writing here. Not because I have less to say. Or because I have mastered the craft.

I have been accepted into New York University’s Masters program in Journalism. Classes start in the fall. I am also doing manual work over the summer in order to save up some money.

I no longer need to write every week to sell myself as a freelancer. I also will not have time since my summer work promises to be manual labor.

So the time has come to say goodbye. Thank you for reading.

If you must look back, do so forgivingly. If you will look forward, do so prayerfully. But the wisest course would be to be present in the present gratefully. — Maya Angelou
