3 easy steps to successfully build a social media audience
As a Network Marketer, we want to be successful in our business, but in doing so, we need to grow and expand our network.
Expanding is now easier than it was a couple of years back, and this is because of the emergence and popularity of the internet.
Now for Network Marketing, social media will be the next best thing that happened to us and our business growth as we no longer need to look far or work extra hard to build a community of people.
So how can you now leverage social media and the internet to grow your business organically?
Build an audience. It is this audience that becomes prospects who can then become partners.
Many Top Leaders discovered this and are using it to generate tons of income for their business, so why not you?
Here are three simple steps I shared with my community on how to grow your audience and it’s so super easy to do.
Build Authority: You have to be an ‘expert’ in your industry. Being an expert doesn’t mean you have to know everything about your industry, but you need to be known for something. People need to know what to benefit from you. They need to know what they can come to you for.
How to achieve this: Learn and Teach!!!
Give Value: This is important. Find out what your audience needs and provide a solution to it. If you give them value, they will always come back for me and not just that, they will come back with their friends. They will do the marketing and the referrals for you.
How to achieve this: Ask your audience. A few days ago, I ask my audience exactly what they want to learn from me and the feedback I got was quite encouraging, and that becomes my roadmap in content creation. You can’t teach what no one wants to learn.
Build Engagement: Many of us make the mistake of making a post, and then we run away. Stay there, engage with your audience. How to achieve this: Send them DMs. Find out how they are doing. Respond to their comments or at least react to them depending on your audience’s capacity. Everyone loves to be identified and recognized, so go ahead and recognize them.
Following these steps will help you build your audience organically and fast too. It’s okay to run a paid ad once in a while, but the audience you build organically are the ones who engage more and most likely to stick around and eventually become partners.
When starting newly, don’t focus on the monetizing aspect. Focus more on the giving value, on building the group. When your audience trusts you enough, they will want to partner up and buy what you are selling.
